The fourth element in Simone De Beauvoir’s Existential Credo is Freedom.

The Freedom to Live.

Freedom is the essence of our existence.

Dictators, authoritarian rulers, theocrats and plutocrats, they all derive their enjoyment from controlling other people’s freedom.
